You’ve learned to take care of everyone else.
But somewhere along the way, you stopped taking care of yourself.
Maybe you're the one everyone depends on. The one who listens, gives, fixes, encourages, and keeps showing up.
Yet underneath it all, you're exhausted, second-guessing yourself, or wondering why the care you so freely give isn't reflected back to you.
Here's something worth considering:
The way you treat yourself teaches others how to treat you.
If you've spent years putting yourself last, silencing your own needs, or believing self-compassion is selfish, you're not alone. But those patterns can change.
You don't have to stop loving others.
You just have to stop leaving yourself out of the relationship.
Reconnect with Yourself.
Maybe you've spent so much time caring for everyone else that you've lost touch with yourself.
Maybe you second-guess your decisions, feel disconnected from your emotions, or know something needs to change but can't quite put words to it.
You don't need someone to tell you who you are.
You need a space where you can slow down, notice what's happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with the wisdom already within you.
That's what our work together is about.
Here's how we begin.
Schedule a free 10-minute connection call.
We'll talk about what's bringing you here, answer your questions, and see if we're a good fit.
If it feels like the right next step, we'll book your first one-on-one session and begin from there.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out.
You just have to be willing to get curious.
“You’ve had the answer all along.
It’s been there, inside you. You just needed to allow yourself to listen.””
Hi, I’m Melanie.
I help people stop abandoning themselves so they can finally belong to their own lives.
For years, I thought healing meant becoming a better version of myself. Learning more. Trying harder. Getting everything "right."
Instead, I discovered that lasting change began when I learned to slow down, listen to what was happening inside me, and meet myself with curiosity instead of judgment.
Today I work as a somatic life consultant, blending years of coaching, trauma-informed education, nervous system practices, and lived experience into a practical, compassionate approach. I call it consulting because no two people need the same roadmap. Together, we discover what your heart, body, and story have been trying to tell you all along.
Over the past decade, I've had the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of people navigating trauma, grief, relationships, leadership, faith, and life's unexpected turns. That work has only strengthened what I believe most:
People don't need someone to fix them.
They need someone who knows how to create enough safety for them to hear themselves again.
My work is shaped by both professional training and my own healing journey. It's why everything I do is centered on helping people build self-trust, practice self-compassion, and reconnect with the person they were created to be.
When I'm not coaching, you'll usually find me laughing with my husband of nearly 32 years, spending time with our adult children and growing family, or creating spaces where meaningful conversations can happen.
I'm so glad you're here.
